Things to do
The Palazzo del Ridotto is a wonderful piece of architecture whose decor stands out from the rest of the town. The ground floor is currently part taken by a cafe'/bar and part by the Town Art Gallery which hosts contemporary exhibitions.
The garden is a peaceful place to either stroll or just enjoy the moment. Close by are coffee bars where you can quench your thirst and also 2 of the town's popular theatres.

The Cesena Trotto is a unique experience that you can take advantage of through only the summer months.
The hustle and bustle of the market is always a crowd drawer. With lots of bargains to be had on Italian shoes, bags and clothes outdoors and not forgetting the fruit and vegetable market set inside the town hall's courtyard.
The Abbey is a beautiful Renaissance building situated at the top of a large hill just outside the town centre with wonderful views over the city.
Teatro Bonci is one of the main Italian historical theatres. It was built between 1843-1846 under project by Vincenzo Ghinelli and is presented in exemplary form of Italian theatres combining harmoniously the admireable features of the internal space and the sober decorum of the neoclassical facade remembering Piermarini.
Villa Silvia is the museum for music and poetry. An 18th Century building located in the first hills of Cesena.
The Malatestiana Library is the only example of a monastic humanist library which is perfectly preserved in building, furnishings and book collection. Well worth a visit.
Amble on up to "La Rocca Malatesta" (the fortress) to enjoy some music, pictures and fireworks under the stars.
The Fortress 'La Rocca' - protection for the city of Cesena is set upon Garampo hill in wonderful gardens of tall trees and greenery.
